Completed in 2002, the 15,000 SF pre-engineered metal building consists of a wine production area, case goods storage, and under ground barrel storage area with cast-in-place concrete retaining walls. “They’d never built a winery before, and neither had we. The many questions we had may have seemed insignificant in the scheme of things, but we never expressed a question or concern that they didn’t find the answer to immediately. They even took some of their people and went to California to find out how wineries were built out there. They had their own questions and wanted to make sure everything was accounted for, things like making sure the floorboards were right for the weight of the forklift carrying barrels. They definitely went above and beyond. They were a dream to work with. When you’re as happy with your contractor when you end as when you began, you know they’re good.” |
