NEW RE-CONSTRUCTION. The Friends of Fort Dobbs and many volunteers were responsible for the completion of the 1756 French & Indian War Fort in September 2019. Tom Wilson, President of G.L. Wilson Building Company, is taking the lead on obtaining the white oak trees needed for the fort and on the construction of the foundations and floors.
