I wanted to take a few minutes and document my appreciation for the GL Wilson team. Our distribution relocation project encompassed: parking lot expansion, breakroom expansion, new modular shipping/supervisor offices, driver reception area, major electrical infrastructure expansion, as well as significant plumbing upgrades. We started quoting the project in July, 2018 with an aggressive timeline to start shipping our largest customer on 12/10/2018 while both facilities continued servicing customers.
Severe delays unattributed to the GL Wilson Team further compressed our timeline. GL Wilson worked hand in hand with us and once we received all the required permits, pulled out all of the stops and focused resources on our critical path items. We met the original time frame with zero disruptions to our customers thanks to the efforts of the GL Wilson team!
I was very impressed with all the GL Wilson employees that helped us over the 4-5 month project. I wish I could list them all, as they represented your company exceptionally well. They were all very professional, friendly, and quite qualified in their respective disciplines from electricians, plumbers, and equipment operators. They worked very well with our team and were flexible to work around our changing dynamics to keep our project on schedule, despite two hurricanes
and a snow storm!
Special thanks to Matt Fisher who worked with me from day 1 quoting the project and completing all the electrical upgrade. He was always very responsive and his electrical expertise was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed working with Matt as he supported us day and night to get this project over the goal line. Mike Wood joined us to complete all the quoting and design phase and did a fantastic job pulling it all together, despite my frequent ideas, request, and changes.
Jim Dobler was with us every day orchestrating the project and directing the various
contractors. He is quite skilled in all the disciplines and was very dedicated to us meeting our schedule. Many thanks, Jim! And last but not least, Tim Blake took over mid-project as the project lead and coordinated all the various activities inside and outside, accommodating our internal schedules as well as coordinating around Mother Nature! I appreciate Tim's positive
attitude and calming demeanor keeping us and the GL Wilson team on schedule.
In summary GL Wilson gets 5 stars!! I highly recommend your team. GL Wilson will be my first call for future projects!
