Wilson worked with them to design and build over 143,000 SF of manufacturing additions to meet their growing needs. These additions were completed during normal operations, and the G.L.     Statesville, NC Iredell Memorial Hospital: Renovations Statesville, NC Construction on Iredell Memorial Hospital began in 1953, marking the start of the first major non-residential project in G.L. Wilson's history. Over the last 70 years, there have been numerous partnerships to meet the needs of the shared Statesville and wider Iredell County community, including several recent renovations at the hospital. The newest IMH project involves multiple patient wing renovations, which include all new interior finishes, upgraded utilities, and nursing stations.

    Mooresville, NC Pine Lake Prep: Athletic Complex Mooresville, NC Pine Lake Prep Charter School’s Athletic Complex boasts a sprawling 30-acre expanse designed to cater to the needs of passionate athletes and sports enthusiasts. The state-of-the-art complex features an impressive artificial turf football/soccer stadium field, irrigated natural grass softball and baseball fields, as well as modern amenities including a restroom and concessions building. Ample parking space is also available to accommodate the influx of spectators and visitors. This project was designed by G.L. Wilson Building Company’s in-house design team. Design/Build by G.L.     Statesville & Mooresville, NC Magnera Statesville & Mooresville, NC These industrial production and distribution facilities required precision-built concrete pits and foundations for specialized equipment. The duration of the construction took place alongside an active manufacturing operation without causing disruption or delays. G.L.     Salisbury & Mocksville, NC Gildan Salisbury & Mocksville, NC Gildan Yarns was a complex multiphase manufacturing project spanning two sites in different counties. Phases I and II included a 440,000-square-foot renovation and addition to an existing plant in Salisbury, NC, as well as the construction of an auxiliary plant (650,000 SF) at the same site. Phase III in Mocksville, NC, covered the construction of a 750,000-square-foot plant. All facilities included sophisticated under-slab mechanical systems, which advanced foundations and trenching components to the scope of work. Design/Build by G.L. Wilson Building Company. "G.L. She is also certified through the Human Resource Certification Institute as a Human Resource Professional (PHR) and the Society for Human Resource Management as a Certified HR Professional (SHRM-CP). Starting as a Project Manager, Robert has moved into a leadership role to oversee company operations in the field. Outside of the office, Robert is an involved member at Broad Street United Methodist Church, a member of the Iredell County Planning Board, and enjoys spending his free time outdoors with friends and family.

Civil Engineer Building Design Draftsman / Revit Technician Construction Staking Technician Field Employee Civil Engineer Apply Now Classification: Full Time This position is responsible for professional engineering work in support of a wide range of complex commercial and industrial construction projects. Emphasis is on preparation of construction drawings, calculations, applications, and other documents as required to gain approval from regulatory agencies in a timely manner. Duties and Responsibilities Design and Engineering Design storm water management systems including swales, piping systems, ponds, etc. using storm water modeling and design software. Prepare site plans for client authorization, ultimately gaining municipal approval. Design philosophy should complement neighboring properties while meeting project parameters and budget. Coordinate design with other disciplines assisting on the project (architectural, survey, geotechnical, M/E/P, etc.) Assist Project Manager with quantity estimates on in house design as well as bid projects.
