Utilizing an innovative construction approach, the Athletic Community Center utilizes a hybrid construction method, seamlessly integrating pre-engineered structures with conventional steel frames. This unique approach ensures the structural integrity and longevity of the building while also optimizing construction time and costs. This project was designed by G.L. Statesville, NC Iredell Memorial Hospital: Renovations Statesville, NC Construction on Iredell Memorial Hospital began in 1953, marking the start of the first major non-residential project in G.L. Wilson's history. Over the last 70 years, there have been numerous partnerships to meet the needs of the shared Statesville and wider Iredell County community, including several recent renovations at the hospital. The newest IMH project involves multiple patient wing renovations, which include all new interior finishes, upgraded utilities, and nursing stations.

Mooresville, NC Iredell Health System: Mooresville Medical Office Mooresville, NC New 9,600 square-foot medical office building in Mooresville, North Carolina. The building features offices, a lobby, exam rooms, and lab areas to provide quick and comfortable service to patients. Constructed by G.L. Salisbury & Mocksville, NC Gildan Salisbury & Mocksville, NC Gildan Yarns was a complex multiphase manufacturing project spanning two sites in different counties. Phases I and II included a 440,000-square-foot renovation and addition to an existing plant in Salisbury, NC, as well as the construction of an auxiliary plant (650,000 SF) at the same site. Phase III in Mocksville, NC, covered the construction of a 750,000-square-foot plant. All facilities included sophisticated under-slab mechanical systems, which advanced foundations and trenching components to the scope of work. Design/Build by G.L. Wilson Building Company. "G.L. Site Superintendent Tim Bowman has done an excellent job working in and around our machine installation schedule and start up.
