Statesville, NC Parker Hannifin Statesville, NC This project in the Crawford Road industrial district represents a strong example of a total renovation and upfit of an existing structure. The scope of work covered two sections: office and manufacturing spaces. The manufacturing floor received new dock seals, dock levelers, truck restraints, portal steel, sidewalks, and windows. Installation of new mechanical units and restroom upgrades, including tile, fixtures, vanities, lighting, cabinets in the kitchen and breakrooms, ceilings, doors, and storefronts, were core items addressed on the office side. The demolition of the existing space, as well as extensive electrical and flooring/floor refinishing, encompassed the entirety of the renovated area. Design/Build by G.L. Wilson Building Company. Hiddenite, NC Pisgah Methodist Church Hiddenite, NC This design-build project includes an 11,012-square-foot fellowship center addition with an industrial kitchen, a stage, a large multipurpose room, and restrooms. Design/Build by G.L. Wilson Building Company. “Our project, which we refer to as ‘The Great Hall’ is a once in a lifetime building for our congregation. Our building has been done in multi-phases due to our funding but G.L. Wilson Building Company stayed with us the whole way. The team at G.L. Wilson helped us use every bit of our space as creatively as possible and if any hiccups came up we knew they would be the first to help us get it fixed. Tom graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Civil Engineering with a Construction Option. He is the qualifier for the General Contractor licenses in numerous states. He continues to contribute to the community by actively serving on the boards of directors of a variety of institutions and charitable foundations. Tom is a recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine from Governor Roy Cooper.

Statesville, NC Broad Street UMC: Tower Renovations Statesville, NC Broad Street United Methodist Church is a historic century-old building in Downtown Statesville. G.L. Wilson Building Company was brought to complete extensive refurbishment work on one of the bell towers. Statesville, NC South Iredell High School: Performing Arts Center Statesville, NC G.L. Wilson and Adams + Associates collaborated to bring this Performing Arts Center facility to the South Iredell High School campus. The scope includes a 700-seat auditorium with an elevated stage and backstage area, band and chorus classrooms, soundproof instrument practice & ensemble support rooms, a broadcasting facility, and classrooms. The design also features a new Administration wing with reception, offices, and a conference room. The main lobby gives direct access to the Auditorium and a concessions area and restrooms. Along the side of the main exterior entry there are ticket windows to be used for school productions as well as public events.

Wilson's in-house design team, the second location of Animal Hospital of Statesville, Animal Hospital on South Main in Troutman, provides a complete suite of animal care amenities for staff and clients. Our designers outfitted the new animal hospital with seven patient exam rooms, an X-ray booth, kennels for cats and dogs, offices, and an operating room, ensuring it met all the needs outlined by the client. "G.L. Wilson took the blueprint for our new animal hospital from my head and shaped it into reality. The design team was able to interpret my general ideas and develop them into a working prototype that we eventually tweaked into the perfect model. From there the construction team took over. They were open to minor adjustments to the plan as they arose. I was updated several times each week (and often several times each day)on the progress. Issues that arose were handled quickly and professionally with the final product exceeding my expectations. They were on time and on budget. We had a great experience with G.L.
